There Goes Next Year's Vacation Plan

The Iranian "leader" who spoke at Columbia University (and I apologize to REAL universities for using that term in referring to Columbia) wildly claimed that Iran has no homosexuals. I read elsewhere that homosexuality is punishable by death in Iran.

All this after I had already began planning a beach vacation on the shores of the Caspian Sea. Now I have to find a place that has a more open, peaceful and welcoming society and leadership. Perhaps Venezuela or Cuba.

*sigh*

"Don't tase me, bro."

Translation: don't tease me, bro.

Remember. He was in the south. That's how we talk down there.

Especially if You are a Straight Senator

When you find yourself at MSP, and decide to take the new walking trail, and then you need a bathroom break, make sure you don't walk past a bathroom stall too slowly!

Everybody Has a Badge in this Town

Have you noticed it? The bus driver had a badge. Firemen have a badge. Sanitation Department workers have a badge. Subway operators have a badge. Private security workers have a badge. It seems that just about any job you get with the city of New York comes with a badge. Except, of course, teachers. Or maybe they have badges, too.

Why?

I think that only people whose job it is to arrest people should have badges. But that's just me.

I'm a little boy with glasses
The one they call the geek
A little girl who never smiles
'Cause I've got braces on my teeth
And I know how it feels
To cry myself to sleep

I'm that kid on every playground
Who's always chosen last
A single teenage mother
Tryin' to overcome my past
You don't have to be my friend
But is it too much to ask

Don't laugh at me
Don't call me names
Don't get your pleasure from my pain
In God's eyes we're all the same
Someday we'll all have perfect wings
Don't laugh at me

I'm the cripple on the corner
You've passed me on the street
And I wouldn't be out here beggin'
If I had enough to eat
And don't think I don't notice
That our eyes never meet

I lost my wife and little boy when
Someone crossed that yellow line
The day we laid them in the ground
Is the day I lost my mind
And right now I'm down to holdin'
This little cardboard sign...so

Don't laugh at me
Don't call me names
Don't get your pleasure from my pain
In God's eyes we're all the same
Someday we'll all have perfect wings
Don't laugh at me

I'm fat, I'm thin, I'm short, I'm tall
I'm deaf, I'm blind, hey, aren't we all

Don't laugh at me
Don't call me names
Don't get your pleasure from my pain
In God's eyes we're all the same
Someday we'll all have perfect wings
Don't laugh at me
